Indian army's unprovoked firing along LoC injures five civilians
Pakistan Army troops responded effectively and targeted those Indian posts which initiated fire.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – At least five civilians were wounded in another violation of the ceasefire by Indian troops at the Line on Control (LOC) on Sunday.
According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian army targeted civil population in Khuiratta Sector along LoC, injuring five civilians including an 11-year-old girl and a woman.
The ISPR said Pakistan Army troops responded effectively and targeted those Indian posts which initiated fire. It is pertinent to mention here that In 2020 till to date, Indian forces have carried out 1,643 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary.
Earlier in the day, Indian Army s unprovoked ceasefire violation has injured an elderly woman, resident of Kirni village in Rakhchikri Sector along the Line of Control (LoC).
